Set up Bestmates for Home Phone (One NZ B only)

This article covers how to set up the BestMates for home phone Add-On

To order and manage your BestMates for Home Phone Wireless, please call us on 0800 189 189.

If you are unsure that you are a One NZ A customer, you'll need to check which Account Name you have on your invoice.

You can nominate up to 5 friends or family members, with an NZ mobile or NZ landline, then call them as many times as you like for one flat monthly fee .

If you're on one of our plans that is not eligible: Change to a plan that is eligible for BestMates for home phone by calling us on 0800 777 035. You can also change plans in My One NZ.

Steps

  1. Sign in to My One NZ , selecting Internet & landline

  2. In the Phone section, click Add or change BestMates for home phone
  3. The Add or change BestMates for home phone screen appears

  4. From the My Home Account Number drop-down menu, select your account

    Please note: If you only have 1 account, this is selected by default

  5. In the BestMates for home phone section, add or edit your BestMate numbers as required
  6. In the Nickname for this number field (underneath each BestMate number), you can add a nickname for each of your BestMate numbers
  7. Click Make active

If you have existing Talk 0 Numbers you will get the option to transfer them to BestMates for home phone, this message will appear at the top of the screen. You can select this option by ticking the boxes next to the numbers.

If you're on one of our plans that is not eligible, you can change to a plan that is eligible for BestMates for home phone by calling us on 0800 777 035.
You can also change plans in My One NZ.
